Messe Berlin has many event highlights in store for 2024
A look at the highlights in the first half of 2024
The 2024 calendar is packed with events and features many highlights – for an international audience of trade visitors and the people of Berlin. Kicking off events is the Grüne Woche (19 – 28 Jan.), which for ten days will be a magnet for the public attracting many visitors to the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. Together with FRUIT LOGISTICA (7 – 9 Feb.), ITB Berlin (5 – 7 Mar.) and ILA Berlin (5 – 9 June), the first half of the year will feature major trade fairs bringing an international audience of trade visitors to the capital.
Debut for FIBE BERLIN
24 and 25 April will witness the launch of the "FIBE BERLIN" Fintech Festival. FIBE aims to become the main platform for the fintech eco-system in the fintech capital that is Berlin. The festival on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds is co-organised by Berlin Finance Initiative (BFI), Handelsblatt and Messe Berlin.
April is when two other industry events are taking place on our exhibition grounds. From 9 to 11 April DMEA, Europe’s leading event for digital health, will be the meeting place for experts from the worlds of IT, healthcare and politics. On 24 and 25 April BUS2BUS will extend an invitation to attend Europe’s industry event for the public transport sector and is a platform for the bus industry.
New: GREENTECH FESTIVAL and Mary Jane Berlin debut on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds
In May, Europe’s largest sustainability festival, the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, (15 – 17 May) will take place for the first time on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. During the three-day event the festival will provide insights and new ideas for a more sustainable lifestyle. Mary Jane Berlin (14 – 16 June), Germany’s largest trade fair for hemp and cannabis products, is taking place for the first time on the exhibition grounds.
Wide-ranging congress programme on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds
In 2024 the Berlin Exhibition Grounds continue to be an in-demand venue for international trade fairs and congresses. In the first six months congress highlights will include the 36th German Cancer Congress (17 – 21 Feb.) with around 10,000 attendees, the Diabetes Congress (11/12 May) with 9,000 attendees, and the ESMO Breast Cancer Annual Conference (29/30 May) with around 4,000 attendees. The international Coil Winding and Electrical Manufacturing Exhibition (14 – 16 May) will also gather around 10,000 visitors from all over the world on the exhibition grounds.
A look at the event calendar from January to June 2024
Grüne Woche (19 - 28 January 2024)
The Grüne Woche is the leading industry event for agriculture, the food industry and horticulture. From 19 to 28 January Messe Berlin expects tens of thousands of visitors daily to attend the display halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
FRUIT LOGISTICA (7 - 9 February 2024)
As the leading trade fair for the global fruit trade FRUIT LOGISTICA presents the entire value chain of the fresh produce sector – from production through to shipment and sales.
KOOP Berlin (18/19 February 2024)
Following the successful launch of Koop, the trade fair for partnerships, as an in-person event in 2023, Euronics and expert have refined the original concept. This year, KOOP Berlin is opening the jointly occupied hall to expert’s managing partners and Euronics members.
Asia Apparel Expo (19 - 21 February 2024)
Asia Apparel Expo Berlin is the fashion show for Asian clothing products. Around 450 manufacturers will present mens’ and womenswear, fashion for children and accessories.
36th Deutscher Krebskongress 2024 (21- 24 February 2024)
As Germany’s leading oncology event the "German Cancer Congress" is a forum for an interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and innovations in the fight against cancer.
PILOT EXPO (23/24 February 2024)
Pilot Expo in Berlin is Europe’s largest event for recruiting and training flight crews. Numerous exhibitors, including major European and Asian airlines as well as the largest flight training organisations and HR agencies will be represented at Pilot Expo with their latest products and providing information.
ITB Berlin (5 - 7 March 2024)
The leading trade fair for the global travel industry - ITB Berlin - brings the industry together in Berlin at the beginning of March: Destinations and tour operators, travel agencies and tech companies shape the future of travel here. The internationally renowned ITB Berlin Convention takes place at the same time.
FTTH Conference (19 - 21 March 2024)
The next edition of the FTTH conference will take place from 19 to 21 March in Berlin. Germany is a key player in the fibre optics market and currently experiencing an unprecedented FTTH expansion, driven by increasing investment in gigabit connectivity.
EHRA Congress 2024 (7 - 9 April 2024)

Chefs Culinar (14/15 April 2024)

European Police Congress (16/17 April 2024)

The Fintech Festival "FIBE BERLIN" targets the fintech eco-system around Europe – including fintech startups, investors, traditional banks and policymakers. In 2024 FIBE BERLIN celebrates its premiere. The new festival is co-organised by the Berlin Finance Initiative (BFI), Handelsblatt and Messe Berlin.
WM Werkstattmesse (5 - 7 May 2024)
WM Werkstattmesse in Berlin is a trade fair for automotive parts, accessories, tyres and workshop equipment and one of the largest of its kind in Europe. At WM Werkstattmesse Berlin numerous suppliers will exhibit their latest automotive parts and accessories as well as workshop equipment.
Diabetes Kongress (8 - 11 May 2024)
Taking as its slogan ’Diabetes. Environment. Life. A 360-degree outlook’, the 58th Diabetes Congress will take place from 8 to 11 May 2024 in Berlin. Every year some 6,000 attendees, mainly from German-speaking countries, gather for the congress in Berlin.
Coil Winding And Electrical Manufacturing Exhibition (CWIEME) (14 - 16 May 2024)
Over 750 international companies from 80 countries will exhibit coil winding, insulation and electrical manufacturing products and trends. The organisers expect around 6,000 trade visitors to attend the display halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
ESMO Breast Cancer Annual Conference (15 - 17 May 2024)
