German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck set to deliver keynote at FIBE

On April 24th and 25th of April, Messe Berlin hosts the inaugural fintech and finance festival, FIBE. FIBE aims to convene a diverse array of industry professionals and decision-makers from banks, suppliers, politics, associations, and academia.

FIBE brings industry professionals with policy makers together

A multitude of international industry experts have already confirmed their participation. Now, Minister of Economic Affairs Robert Habeck has confirmed his keynote speech for April 24 at 4:30 p.m. In addition to Habeck, Parliamentary State Secretary Dr. Florian Toncar will participate in a panel discussion with Berlin industry experts on stage and discuss the competitiveness of the ecosystem in Berlin.

3 stages, 2 days, 6,000 square meters: Diverse programme unveiled!

Habeck and Dr Toncar are scheduled to speak on the Festival Stage, one of three FIBE stages, alongside the Club Stage and the Podcast Stage. The Festival Stage will host discussions, interviews, startup pitches, and keynotes, while the Club Stage will offer insights from industry experts, Meet & Greets, and Masterclasses. Among the top speakers Maximilian Tayenthal (Co-Founder & CEO at N26), Dr Feiyu Xu (Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at nyonic) and Michael Kent (Fintech Angel & Venture Partner at Headline). Pitch Perfect: Startups showcase themselves at FIBE

Whether it's fully automated liquidity planning, platforms for digitised assets, BNPL solutions, or creative ideas around blockchain development - to foster innovations within the European fintech scene, FIBE has introduced the "Pitch Perfect" format.

Startups in the seed phase can present their company through brief presentations to a high-profile audience, including venture capitalists, at the fintech festival in Berlin. Interested startups can apply starting from February 5th. Out of all submissions, a total of seven startups will have the opportunity to be on the Festival Stage on April 24th and 25th. With these pitches, FIBE remains true to the festival character. The startup pitches are comparable to opening acts at music festivals. There won't be a prize for a winner by the end of all presentations. All 7 startups are potential winners, as they get a spot on the Festival Stage, gaining visibility and the attention of venture capitalists.
