Jörg Schmidt takes over as Head of Corporate Governance at Messe Berlin
Jörg Schmidt (60) took over as Head of Corporate Governance at Messe Berlin on 1 May.
He is moving to Berlin from the DHL Hub Leipzig, where he was Head of Legal & Compliance for six years. In addition to his extensive expertise in the field of governance, Jörg Schmidt also brings further international experience from his previous activities, including working for Deutsche Bahn in London and Ankara.
In his new position, Jörg Schmidt will lead a 14-member team responsible for compliance and policy management, data protection, as well as risk and audit for the Messe Berlin group.
