Messe Berlin kicks off 2025 at full speed

The event calendar for the first half of the year includes numerous major events and high-calibre trade fairs and congresses.

Messe Berlin is one of the top addresses for international live events and high-calibre congresses: in 2024, around 31,000 exhibitors presented themselves at 121 events with 1.9 million participants. The event calendar is also full in 2025. International trade visitors and Berliners can look forward to a varied year.

Green Week and FRUIT LOGISTICA open the trade fair year 2025

To kick off the year, Green Week (17 January - 26 January) combines tradition and visions for the future - and has been doing so for 99 years. For ten days, the entire Berlin Exhibition Centre is dedicated to food, agriculture and horticulture - an industry highlight and crowd-puller that continues to impress year after year.

FRUIT LOGISTICA (5 - 7 February), the world's most important trade fair for the fresh produce sector, brings together the biggest players in the industry with trade visitors from all over the world. The event covers the entire value chain.

In March, the world of international tourism meets at the largest travel trade fair, ITB Berlin (4 - 6 March), where destinations and tour operators, hotels, travel agencies and tech companies shape the future of travel. The internationally renowned ITB Berlin Convention will take place at the same time. The official guest country 2025 is Albania.

The DMEA (08.04. - 10.04.) is the meeting place for the digital health industry. Europe's most important event for digital health offers a comprehensive market overview, networking opportunities and effective customer acquisition.

Following its premiere last year, the Fintech and Finance Festival FIBE Berlin (9 - 10 April) is entering its second round. With a focus on macroeconomic changes and new technologies, FIBE Berlin offers a stage for the financial world of tomorrow.

Trade fairs and congresses bring current trends and topics to Berlin

Event highlights in 2025 include the European premiere of the world's leading tech event GITEX as well as numerous other congresses and events. A look at the calendar:

At the congress of the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation ECCO (19.02. - 22.02.), the latest scientific information and advanced training in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgery will be discussed.

Dermatology is the focus of the DDG conference (30.04. - 02.05.) The specialist congress of the German Dermatological Society offers a broad programme of lectures on all topics relating to dermatology as well as inter-collegial exchange.

FESPA Global Print Expo (06/05 - 09/05) is Europe's leading exhibition for screen and digital printing, large format printing and textile printing.

Hundreds of exhibitors will present their latest innovations and product launches in the fields of graphics, décor, packaging, industrial and textile applications.

The GREENTECH FESTIVAL (20 May - 22 May) is the place where sustainability and green innovation meet cutting-edge technology. The festival aims to become the leading platform for sustainability and decarbonisation of the economy.

From Dubai to Berlin - with the premiere of GITEX EUROPE (21 May - 23 May), one of the world's most important events for tech and start-ups is coming to the Berlin Exhibition Centre with its own event. As a technology trade fair and festival, GITEX Europe will be the place to go for tech fans, investors and enthusiasts.

The WM Werkstattmesse (23 May - 25 May) is one of the largest automotive trade fairs in Europe. Numerous suppliers will be presenting their latest products from the automotive parts and accessories market as well as from the workshop equipment sector.

The Coil Winding, Insulation and Electrical Manufacturing Exhibition - CWIEME Berlin (3 - 6 June) brings together the industry's manufacturers of electric motors, transformers and coils. Over four days, the exhibiting companies will present their electrotechnical innovations.

Mary Jane Berlin (20.06. - 22.06.) is Europe's leading trade fair for the sustainable cannabis industry and is taking place for the second time at the Berlin Exhibition Centre. Over 200 international exhibitors and more than 30,000 visitors will come together at the exhibition centre.

Politics meets in Berlin: Three party conferences in the City Cube Berlin

The political stage will also be using the Berlin exhibition grounds in 2025: after the SPD held its national party conference in the CityCube on 11 January, the CDU and Bündnis 90/Die Grünen will also be holding their party conferences at the Berlin exhibition grounds. The federal delegates' conference of Bündnis90/Die Grünen will take place on 26 January. The CDU will meet on 3 February for its party conference in the CityCube.
